Hello backers!
Quick post to spotlight the beautiful variant cover that we have on offer as a reward. For you guys who aren't really into mainstream comics, Ariela and Bryan, both from Indonesia, worked on one of my favourite comic books - InSEXts for Aftershock Comics. You should check it out if you ever get the chance.
As a first time indie creator, I was honestly shocked that both agreed to produce this variant cover (which was published in much smaller numbers than the regular cover, hence the difference in price) for the first issue of our series. It was actually my editor Erica Schultz who recommended Ariela and then Ariela who recommended Bryan. Networks are everything in comics :)
If you haven't yet pledged towards this cover, but you like the look of the variant, it's possible to upgrade your pledge. You will also have the chance to order these covers after the Kickstarter has ended.
Our campaign is looking good at 85% so hopefully we'll be pushing for stretch goals soon :)

Hello awesome backers!
We're one week into our campaign for the THE RESURRECTED trade paperback and we're already 79% funded! Seriously you guys are the best! Kickstarters are extremely nerve wracking so this early support has been relieving....
We've had a few pledges to sketch reward tiers (including two 'producers') so I thought I'd share some samples of Renee Rienties' beautiful creations. Renee is an extremely popular Dutch artist who can draw in both Manga and American comics style and I've been a fan of her art for quite a while. Stoked to be able to collaborate with her. Very cool to see THE RESURRECTED has grabbed 2nd spot in the 'hot' comic book category on Kicktraq!
We're currently 61% funded after five days and have also been nominated by Kickstarter as a 'project we love!'

Thought I'd also share another cool Kickstarter project with you guys. My Aussie mate Mike Speakman is the creator of the popular comic Space Copz and his publisher is currently running a campaign to fund a spin-off anthology; Space Copz: Origins, which looks bloody excellent! They're 86% funded and only have four days left to hit their funding target.
"Each story tells a tale of a particular character in the Space Copz Universe (SCU) came to be the way they are now. Stories about Sgt. Alpha Omega and Beta Boy starting out, tales recanting details of Paxton the Pooch’s arrival at Mercury Plains, yarns spinning of how Zeta became evil and so many more!
So, buckle in and hold on tight as we join this dynamic duo (no, not that one!) and friends as they deal with monsters, bullies and things under the bed. Clearly this is a comic book anthology with more laughs, twists, loops and swirls than your local carnival!"

I'm super excited that Kickstarter has named THE RESURRECTED campaign as a 'project we love.'
It's a massive honour and hopefully it will generate some additional interest. It thanks to all of you early backers that the staff at Kickstarter recognised the merits of our project. So thank you for believing in us!
We're three and a half days into our campaign and we are just under 60% funded. It's a little slower than our last Kickstarter (for issue one of the series) but I'm confident that we'll reach those same heights.
Thanks again to everyone for their support and I cannot wait to get our collected printed edition into your hands!

Hello backers!
We're just over 48 hours into the campaign for the THE RESURRECTED trade paperback and we're 47% funded! As I was writing this update we actually went from 34% to 47% funded as an influx of pledges came in (including a pledge to the 'producer' tier!)
MASSIVE thank you to all of those who have taken the time to get behind our project so early into our campaign. The hard work is really just beginning though as we still have 53% left to fund and Kickstarter gives us absolutely zero, zilch, nada, if we don't hit our target.
