Hello everyone!
If you missed our last update, our Kickstarter for MURKY WATERS: Tales from Beneath; a 56 page anthology of eight short comics exploring the blurred lines separating imagination and reality, is now live.

We actually hit our funding target of 3000 euros two days ago, and are now gunning for our first stretch goal of 4000 euros, at which ALL physical backers will receive an exclusive art print from Lucy Sullivan. Digital tier backers will receive a digital version of the print. I'm not sure what drawing Lucy has up her sleeve yet, but I'm 100% certain it will be something special :)
Lucy is from the UK and is the writer/artist of the smash-hit graphic novel 'Barking.' Not only is Barking an incredible piece of work, but it's themes and atmosphere tie in closely with those of Murky Waters. I absolutely recommend you read it. Lucy is also the artist on the upcoming comic IND-XED (with Fraser Campbell - a sincerely brilliant writer - check out his comics here - https://alexautomaticblog.wordpress.com/) and is currently drawing a short story for the hit anthology series Razorblades.

We're finally back with another Kickstarter, with MURKY WATERS: Tales from Beneath; a 56 page anthology of eight short comics exploring the blurred lines separating imagination and reality, now live!
Murky Waters Kickstarter Page
Some of you will remember the two Kickstarter campaigns I launched in 2018 and 2019 in order to print issue one of THE RESURRECTED, and then the completed trade paperback. We were blessed to have raised approximately USD $11,000. Thank you again to all of you who supported THE RESURRECTED, even it that meant simply sharing our campaign with your friends and followers.
The all-star art team includes Matthew Dow Smith, Christian DiBari, Maan House, Ariela Kristantina, Devmalya Pramanik, Triona Farrell, J.Paul Schiek, Lala Narita, Roshan Kurichiyanil, Gabriela Contreras, Dearbhla Kelly, and Allison Hu.
I wrote all eight stories, Erica Schultz is the editor, Cardinal Rae the letterer & cover art by Tula Lotay.
My wife, Meriam Carnouche co-wrote a story,

Quick update to let you guys know that all of the books and other physical rewards have been shipped to all of our overseas backers (i.e. outside of The Netherlands). They are bloody beautiful and I can't wait to get them into your hands!
Every floppy comic (the single issues, not the collected editions) has been bagged and boarded and the fulfillment centre will be sending the rewards out in cardboard mailers. Although they are well protected, I'm always nervous about what may happen in the post... Please contact me asap if any of them are damaged in the post or if you haven't received your order in a couple of weeks max.
Although our deadline expected shipping date was October, everything went incredibly smoothly so I was really hoping to get them to you guys last month. However, same as last year, the non-comic book rewards were stuck in customs for three weeks....We're still way ahead of schedule though.
Backerkit has also distributed the digital rewards. The comic itself is a large file so best to download it using WiFi. If you've completed your survey, yet haven't received the Backerkit email with your digital rewards, then please check your spam or contact me.
At this point we're only sending the files to backers who have completed their surveys. I've tried multiple times to contact the remaining digital backers who haven't filled out their surveys. If you haven't filled in your survey, please do it soon so we can get your digital rewards to you asap!

I've just received THE RESURRECTED stretch goal stickers and they are dope!
All physical backers will receive one of these stickers (backers of the sketch reward tiers and above will receive both stickers), on top of Chris Shehan's print.
You should all have received your surveys from Backerkit by now. If not, please check your spam. You have to fill out these surveys to receive your rewards. There are still a few stragglers so please try to fill the survey out asap so I can pass on your shipping details to the distribution centre.
I'm ready to upload the PDF for the entire comic book to PrintNinja and the digital version will be distributed asap to backers who have filled out their surveys.

Just received THE RESURRECTED stretch goal prints in the mail and they are beautiful! Amazing work by the ridiculously talented Chris Shehan.
All physical backers will receive a free print and because the print is so popular all digital backers will receive an electronic version.
You should all have received your surveys from Backerkit by now. If not, please check your spam. You have to fill out these surveys to receive your rewards.
The PDF for the entire comic book is also ready and will be distributed asap to backers who have filled out their surveys. I'm also close to submitting the print file to PrintNinja so we're on schedule so far to deliver the rewards as promised.
